We were lucky enough to have a week in France between Christmas and the new year at the wonderful Etang Hirondelle. Luckily the weather was not too cold for the first 3 days allowing me to get the rods out, and wow!
I had 3 fantastic 30s, the biggest being 36 lbs, along with a 31 lbs and a 30 lbs, and I was only fishing for a few hours a day! It was winter fishing at its very best . If you want great winter carp fishing, get yourselves to Etang Hirondelle.
