This is our third visit to Etang Hirondelle. It never disappoints. It has everything you need for a relaxing holiday in the countryside with your own fishing lake. The very well-equipped gite with adjacent pool is situated very close to the lake. If its just being in the country absorbing the wildlife this is the ideal place.

However, our passion is fishing for carp. I doubt if you could find such a well-appointed lake with facilities like those at Etang Hirondelle. The lake is a mixed fishery. However, the carp fishing can be spectacular.

My results for our two-week holiday are shown below.

Number of carp 63  with 2 over 50lbs

Glen and Linda even laid on great weather with the temperature ranging between 32C and  36 C.
