So for the first time in a number of visits I struggled to get among the bigger fish at Etang Hirondelle. A combination of hot weather, high pressure and general incompetence helped along the way! That said, I did make contact with a number of the lake’s original stock, all of which have grown well and are in excellent condition. Maggie, our dog Molly and I enjoyed our visit, Linda and Glen’s company, and our visits to a number of vide grenier where we managed to buy stock for our antiques unit.
