It was great to be back with our friends at Bouchamps-Les-Craon. The weather was hot and humid mixed in with a few thunder storms and heavy rain which thankfully did not last too long and did not stop us from having a great time.
We visited a number of small picture perfect villages and towns that were all within a 45 minute drive.

The fishing was really good and having sole use of the lake makes it well worth the cost of the trip. We caught a mixture of Common and Mirror Carp plus a couple of mighty Sturgeon and some very good sized Roach. The Common and Mirror Carp weighed between 12.80 pounds and 38.12 pounds.

The Sturgeon weighed in at 26.70 pounds and a much larger fish at 35.60 pounds. The Roach kept us busy with the top weight being 2.40 pounds.

All in all a fantastic holiday with friends.
